Arriving by car

The Hotel Torre Guelfa is right in the heart of Florence in Borgo Santi Apostoli 8. Arriving from the A1 Milano – Roma, take the exit “Firenze Sud”. At the end of the highway keep your left and go straight for about two km. At the end of Lungarno Colombo, turn left at the traffic light and then turn right at the roundabout. Keep going on with the river on your right, following the directions for the historical center (Piazza Pitti, the Uffizi gallery, Ponte Vecchio). Cross the river on the bridge “Ponte alle Grazie” (the bridge before the Ponte Vecchio) and turn left. When you have passed the Ponte Vecchio, take the first alley to the right and then turn left in Borgo SS. Apostoli, where the hotel is located. When you are in the hotel, the staff of the garage will arrive in a few minutes to bring you car to the parking place and cancel your license plate from the restricted traffic area to avoid any fine due to unauthorized city center entrance. Once you check out at the Hotel, they bring your car in front of the entrance. The daily cost including valet service is 26 Euro.
